The Godfather by Mario Puzo
A first printing of Mario Puzo’s original 1969 american mob story that inspired the movies of the same name.
As far as I can tell this is a first edition from 1969. It lacks the dust cover sporting the legendary illustration, but people who keep their books in the dust covers are psychopaths. Books were made to breath and mingle together on the shelf without their formal dust covers. If you are a fan of the amazing films by Francis Ford Coppola, you really need to have this book displayed proudly on your self. Unless you are a dust cover snob, then maybe this copy isn't for you. But if you want to nestle this in between your favorite crime dramas and cinema based dramas, then maybe this copy is for you. It's in great condition, which is just proof that dust covers do nothing to protect a book.
